I have been playing the free craps online atwhich the wizard seems to only advertise because he feels that they are not fixing the games at all for free or payed. (By the way thanks for the website some neat stuff.) But, to me it just doesn't seem to be the case when there is money on the line. I have played both ways and when you try to win with the Passline you seem to get a lot of sevens. Which I can understand because it has the most combinations, but when I play the Don't Passline you can't get a seven until the computer has broke my account or has won enough to cover the bank's losses. I'm not claiming to be an expert, but I have only been able to get one big payout, which seems odd since I have been playing consistently for over two months. What gives... Are the dice totally tied to the wager on the table? Check it out and please answer my poll.... I know you are busy Might Wizard with your kids, and you want more proof. Sorry I can't spend the time to prove the numbers and hope you might be curious to check it out sometime.. Thanks again.
Sorry choice 3 should be 'totally random for a dice game'

Stan- with the minimal information you have provided there is no way anyone can begin to give you an answer. You need to be more specific.... 'I played 1000 pass line bets and only won 350.... or I rolled 5000 times and had 1100 7's.... If you are playing agame that has a built in house advantage such as craps, you will lose far more often than you win. Give us some meat and we may be able to help you....

Christ, that sounds like the last time I went to Borgata. When I was watching and betting in my head, I was winning like crazy. Then I put my money down and it all went to hell.

That's strange. Happened to me too... only it was at the Venetian.
Frankly I think Bodog is simply too honest a site to risk any adjustments to even a free game. Its simply not worth it to them. And its most definitely too risky for them to make any adjustments at all once its a play for real money game. Craps
There is a shareware craps game available on the internet that has a certain registration period in which you have to send money. If you use the program and don't send the money then the dice will start to do alot of strange things until you send in the money but that is a shareware program, not on a casino's website.

Stanley, we see a lot of guys upset at about the stage you are at here, and actually you are being treated more kindly by the replies than I would have thought. I've seen enough of these to ponder something. I think online players have an unfortunate combination: since it is pretty much live action for the dice roll, you can't get enough trials to mean anything significant statistically unless experiencing something like losing 90% of the time. On the other hand, you could probably get in 300 rolls an hour or maybe more since there is nothing else to delay the game, like paying bets at a human pace. In a casino at a full table normal is around 100 rolls an hour. Thus the number of sessions where you are the winner is likely to be less due to more rolls per session than perhaps you realize.
the next time Dame Fortune toys with your heart, your soul and your wallet, raise your glass and praise her thus: “Thanks for nothing, you cold-hearted, evil, damnable, nefarious, low-life, malicious monster from Hell!” She is, after all, stone deaf. ... Arnold Snyder

Online, with the 'repeat last bet' feature you can easily get 600 per hour. No amount of real world experience will prepare players for that kind of speed. It allows for all sorts of statistically deviant behavior in short order. A 3-sigma (or more) result happens much more often (time wise) online than at the tables. I, for one, am tired of conspiracy theories about online casinos... they grow old ... but as long as the OP learns something and doesn't try and defend his position, it's okay by me.

Craps is one of the most exciting games you can play in a casino. If you ever feel like there’s a party happening at a table, it’s likely a Craps table. The game is based on rolling a pair of dice, and everything goes from there. Let’s take a closer look at how to play the game and the strategy behind it.

How to Play Craps

Craps works in rounds. The first roll is called the Come Out Roll. If the Come Out Roll is a 2, 3, or 12, called Craps, all the Pass Line Bets are lost. If it’s a 7 or an 11, it’s called a Natural and the Pass Line Bets win. Rolls of 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 for the Come Out become the Point number, and a black puck is placed on it. The dice then gets rolled over and over again until either the same Point number or a 7 is rolled. If the player re-rolls the Point number, the Pass Line Bets win, but if it’s a 7, the Pass Line Bets lose.

Once the rolling stops, losing bets are subtracted from the table and then the winning bets and ties are paid out. For winning bets, the original stake is returned after the winnings are all paid out.

How to Bet

To get in the action, you have to choose the chip value you want to wager. Then you’ll have to decide where you want to place the bet. The Pass Line is the most important and basic bet in Craps. It’s an even money proposition where you put your bet on the Pass Line during the Come Out Roll. You’ll win if the dies combine for a 7 or an 11. If the Come Out Roll is a 2, 3 or 12, then you lose. Also, if any Point is rolled on the Come Out Roll and the Point gets rolled again before a 7, then you also win. But if there happens to be a 7 before the Point is re-rolled, you lose.

There’s a whole host of other bets to get familiar with such as Don’t Pass Line Bets. For an in-depth explanation, visit the craps game guide.

  1. Determine your bankroll. You need to know what kind of bankroll you’re working with as it will determine what your average bet should be.
  2. Learn where to place the bets. The Craps table is filled with many little boxes, and usually the game moves quickly as chips are being moved all over the place. Get to know the specific boxes, where to position your chips and understand what you’re betting.
  3. Start off with basic bets. Craps is a little bit of an intricate game, so start off with Pass Line Bets. The Pass Line is easy to understand, so start off with basics.
